Refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date the package is delivered, to request a replacement or refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it in, unused and unread, with no creases or marks on or in the book. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at orders@simplewordsbooks.com, include the order number, the email, and phone number on the order. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Simple Words Books, PO Box 222, Oaks, PA 19456.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a Product Return Number (PRN) that should be included in the package to ensure your refund is processed correctly and timely. The items should be shipped back to us within 7-day after the PRN is issued. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return or without a PRN will not be accepted, and no refunds will be issued. If the product is damaged, we will suggest to replace prior to refunding the order.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If the product is damaged or the incorrect item is delivered, we will suggest replacing it before issuing a refund for the order.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Downloadable products cannot be returned if already downloaded. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted and received, we will send the new item you’d like.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Depending on the reason for return, you may not be eligible for refund of the shipping and handling fees.
